(PatriotSpotlight.org) – Former President Trump has always maintained that the Biden Administration is weak and dangerous. Recent distressing policies seem to bolster Trump’s assertions.
As Iran increases its stockpile of nuclear material toward weapons grade, President Joe Biden reportedly urged American partners in Europe to ease sanctions on the country due to its illicit nuclear programs.
Diplomats reportedly have said that the current administration is seeking to prevent the Islamic Republic from being censured at next month’s meeting of the International Atomic Energy Agency’s (IAEA) member-state board by Britain and France.
European officials have expressed concern that the authority of the IAEA, which oversees the non-proliferation of atomic arms, might be undermined if action is not taken. They also say Biden’s plans undermine the legitimacy of Western sanctions on Iran, and this latest strategy has further irritated them.
President Biden initiated the relaxation of sanctions enforcement on Iran, which has led to a significant increase in Iran’s petroleum sales, amounting to billions of dollars. Some experts believe the receipts have far-reaching global implications that could affect the war between Russia and Ukraine while also bolstering China, forming an axis that is not within the United States’ best interests.
A study from the IAEA states that Iran has expanded its inventory of enriched uranium approaching weapons-grade. According to the research, the nation’s enriched uranium stockpile reportedly rose within a few months.
The Foundation for the Defense of Democracies (FDD) states that 99 percent of the effort needed to build weapons-grade uranium occurs in enriching it to 60 percent, with the last 1 percent taking only one week.
Iran has been permitted to acquire an unparalleled amount of enriched uranium, in defiance of international law, because of President Joe Biden.
The latest reports from the International Atomic Energy Agency reveal that Iran is getting closer and closer to nuclear weapons. A research fellow and deputy director of FDD’s nonproliferation and biodefense program, Andrea Stricker, argued that the Biden administration is mistaken in its belief that Iran is implementing restraint via indirect negotiations and the lifting of U.S. sanctions. DC is crossing its fingers, hoping Iran will be on its best behavior.
